Classroom Visualisers
The UF-80 combines the functionality of an overhead projector, digital stills and video cameras, and digital scanner; and combines perfectly with Smart Interactive Whiteboards to allow you to interact with the image. It offers XGA resolution for pin-sharp pictures and operates at 20 frames per second so the image is 'live' on-screen even when it runs through the USB connection to a PC or laptop. The head can be rotated to act as a video camera for capturing demonstrations or classroom performances, and has a powerful zoom facility offering 14x optical and 3x digital zoom combining to give a total 42x magnification - powerful enough to turn mini-beasts into scary-monsters. Freeze frame, dual image and multi-image functions allow you to capture images and work with them on an interactive whiteboard or save and print them for pupils to work on. There is even a video capture function which allows you to record in Mpeg4 format (so the file size is high quality but small in size) - perfect for capturing material for children to work with in a video editing package. Finally, because the UF-80 can capture an A4 sheet it makes a great way of recording materials for assessment and reporting. It weighs a mere 5kg and has an optional sporty black and silver holdall so you can even pretend you've joined the local gym.
